Greetings Potential Vendor,
The Southern University Alumni Federation Home Chapter is hosting its Tenth Annual Crawfish
Boil and Music Festival on Saturday, May 4, 2024, on the campus of Southern University, from 12-6
pm. We are very excited this year because in addition to the Crawfish Boil and Music Festival, the
Southwestern Athletic Regional Conference (SWAC) will host the SWAC Track Championship on
campus. For the first time, the track teams from the twelve SWAC schools will all be on campus all
at the same time. Also, on this same day the Southern University Baseball team will be hosting the
Alcorn State baseball team. The Southern University Museum of Arts will be open, the Southern
University Marching Band will stop by and you can expect and appearance for the Southern
University Alumni Band. Of course there will be a DJ and live entertainment. We have
appropriately themed this day “Family Fun on the Bluff”.
We usually have approximately 800 individuals in attendance. With all the activities occurring on this day, we are planning for a record attendance.
We would like to complement this event with Vendors. We would love for you to join us. The vendor
fee is $100 for profit businesses and individuals and $75 for non-profit organizations and SU Home Chapter members.
Entry Forms may be DOWNLOADED and emailed tiffany.m.veal@gmail.com., or mailed to P.O. Box 12321, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, 70813 no later than Tuesday, April 30, 2024.
The vendor fee does not include the event ticket. If you would like to purchase a ticket, it is an additional $35. The ticket includes either a crawfish plate or a fried fish plate, as well as the entertainment.
